Icicle

For the 20 Years After The Pink contest.

I decided to revisit my old style of drawing things literally. I always felt that Tori Amos' music evoked so many images in my mind from the lyrics as read, the lyrics when actually interpreted, and the music. Each one could bring such starkly different images. The interpretations and musical images were usually a bit darker or more serious, but the ideas that came from just reading the lyrics were always cute and sweet to me. So here's Tori in her pumpkin pjs with the good book that's missing some pages with the icicles outside. And the blanket is pink for Under The Pink. The plushie beside her is Monster, which belongs to my best friend. I drew a previous version of "Greeting the Monster in our Easter dresses" with M'zar and T and li'l T. c: I went for a warm feel on the room to contrast the cold outside, which I'm sure is obvious, but hey, I'm just saying!

Also, this is my first real go at watercolors. That's why it took forever...
