The fourth of the drawings I gave to Tori Amos at the Meet & Greet in Los Angeles on December 18, 2011.

Okay so this is the drawing I am most enamored with, hence the one I actually wanted to show Tori, and the one that evoked such a response from her. "You drew Tash! Look, look at this! She drew Tash!" I could tell her security/assistants were like, "Woohoo?" but she was determined to force them to look at my art, and it gave me the giggles. And of course she went on to tell me and my husband how talented I was (because she's the nicest person ever who loves to make people feel good about themselves!) and I squee'ed the rest of the day. :D It's not perfect, I'm not the best, but Tori can really make you feel like you're awesome, and I thank her for that moment.

Done in Prismacolor markers, microns and colored pencil.

Thank you so very much! This particular picture was a true labor of love, as Tori Amos is my muse and it includes her daughter! And since I was actually giving it to her, I had to give even MORE of my all, since it would be terrible to give her art of her daughter that was subpar. I would have been mortified! In the end she loved it, showing it to her staff... Happiest day of my life. c: I still have a lot of work to do in learning to draw interactions, but each day is a learning process. c: I thank you so much for your kind words on a drawing that holds a special place in my heart, not even for the image so much as the memories it is attached to. c:
