So I totally effed up my back again. I was all, "Oh I'm so sick, I just want to sleep!" and what happens when I lay in bed too much? My back gets weak and gives out on me, then I'm stuck in bed for a week and hobbling around because it hurts. I'm so stupid.

What does that have to do with drawing? Well, I need to sit at my desk to draw, and sitting hurts after a while, so I haven't gotten to do much computer stuff, and haven't drawn in a few days. Which makes me very very sad, I will say.

Hopefully it will improve soon (I think it's on the road to recovery, but it will still be a bit) so that I can get back to work on all of these things I want to draw! Just saying I didn't drop off the map again. c: I'll try to draw a bit later, catch up on the daily sketch thingies, and...

MAKE SOME BEAUTIFUL SEVERUS ARTS!!!! Because BIRTHDAY! :D Happy birthday, Severus, you beautiful, gorgeous creature who I adore! :D  He's so wonderful~! What I wouldn't do to have him locked in my bedroom for forever... *ahem* What? I have a husband? Oh yeah... Can't I have both? ;p

So, yeah. That is all. c: Hope the new year is finding all of you well! Thanks as always for comments/favorites/watches! I'll do my best to keep up, with my lame injury and all. In the meantime, take care of yourselves! c:
  • Watching: Kenny vs Spenny Season 3
  • Drinking: Water, yum yum yum.

I am forcing myself... Plus I'm starting to learn how to manage it a little better. If only I'd stop being stupid and do the exercises I learned in the physical therapy thing, I wouldn't have this problem. But I'm lazy and stupid. xD Got better enough in time for dim sum though! :D

Yay for dim sum!!! I always hated physical therapy. It never seemed to really help me...

It's frustrating, especially since the exercises take so long to do, and I'm supposed to do them 2x/day. And I don't know if they ever helped or not. I guess it depends on what the problem is and what the pt is supposed to be doing to fix it... But on the plus side, I think 2 kids are physical therapy enough! :P You've got to have a back of steel, chasing and picking up little ones. xD

Dude, I think picking up kids does have a lot to do with my health these days! That and my orthotics and my sleep number bed! ;)

Ugh, I hate when my back goes out! Hope yours is better soon. Glad you liked the kinda-creepy Sev I drew on your last post :-P I'd forgotten about his birthday! Shame on me.
I'm a Malfoy fan, myself (take your pick, but wouldn't want 'em at the same time *snicker* although there are plenty of fan-fics with that!), and my hubby knows that if somehow the Muggle and Wizarding worlds collided, AND if I somehow found myself in the pureblood society ('cause really, a Malfoy and a Muggle?, oh wait, I was sorted into Slytherin on Pottermore, I should be okay...) then concessions would just have to be made :-)
Sorry for the run-on sentence, sometimes a gal just thinks way too hard about fictional characters. Sigh.

Don't worry! I do the same, ESPECIALLY when it comes to anything related to Harry Potter, and ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY Sev. xD And those Malfoys are absolutely beautiful, and I'm sure they could be tricked! That's when you pull the whole "I'm a pureblood but, uh, my family tree descends from elsewhere, so you totally wouldn't have heard of them!" line. Just gotta contend with Narcissa, but something tells me she's not the best at dueling. xD I laughed too hard at the 'not at the same time' situation, I imagine I could find enough to fill a week up with reading with one search on FanFiction.net. xD

It just sucks being a Sev fangirl, y'know, with the whole dying at the end thing. But really... He's smart. After the whole Arthur Weasley thing, you'd think he'd be prepared for that eventuality. I say he's faking his death! He's just resting! T_T He's totally fine!! ;3; Denial sucks... Dx

And isn't it the best to have a husband who knows his place in the scheme of things? xD My husband insists he has no fictional characters he'd ditch me for, but I think he's lying... Everyone has to have ONE! xD

Unfortunately, my daughter, who's 9, has claimed Draco for herself. I got her into the fandom, and, well, all hell broke loose. When I was reading them to her for the first time, she KNEW that Snape had a reason for AK'ing Dumbledore. I thought she'd be all "OMG!" but noooo. So, around our house, she and I Potter about. The characters go with us to get pizza, to go bowling, while we're cleaning, while we're doing schoolwork (I school her at home through a cyberschool), and we have "balls" wherein we play Potter parody music (downloaded a bunch from YouTube) and dance like crazy. At least I usually get either Severus or Lucius to dance with me. Hubby thinks we're off our rockers, but that's okay - he's usually not here to see the worst of it hehe.
I think he's alive too. C'mon, greatest potion master EVER? Didn't have anti-venom and YEAH especially after Arthur's attack? Riiiight. I've read some great fics that explained his "re-birth" quite well, and I love those. And yes, husbands who know that they can be usurped by fictional characters are keepers!
<These last two messages to each other have had me giggling for awhile so thank you for all the laughs!!!>

My little sister (she's 14 years younger than me, going to be 17 this year) claimed Draco too a few years back. xD My mom claims Harry, haha!!! It's funny, I think young girls love Draco, older women love Harry, and all of us in the middle love Lucius and Severus! Though there are always exceptions either way. :p That is SO cute!!! Husbands don't always understand fandoms in general, or at least they pretend they don't, though I think they're just jealous. :p And I need to look some of those fan fictions up! I tend to fear fan fics after the whole "My Immortal" thing, plus the fear I'm going to just be reading senseless slash and not a story. xD Though a friend did an EXCELLENT Dudley Dursley fic, taking a character that seemed empty and terrible and turning him into a real person. Who would have thought anyone could enjoy anything Dursley related? And plus I have to be careful, because I'm a hardcore Lily hater, and I fear I may tread upon something that incurs my Lily wrath. :p And me too! It's actually rare for me to find people with similar interests or a sense of humour like me, and I was laughing my butt off! :D

I totally agree! Cause Severus was undoubtedly one of the great and unfortunately forgotten Roman Emperors of all time ( [link] )! Everyone should feel free to do art of h... wait, this wasn't who you meant, was it?

I'm so embarrassed. :blushes:
